MY APPROACH

Let's face it; life can be overwhelming and hard sometimes.
We all have times when we feel sad, depressed, worried, anxious or have difficulties with life events. When you’re feeling stuck, frustrated, and tired of how your life and relationships are going, change can often feel impossible. You may find yourself thinking, “This just isn’t how life was supposed to be for me”. You may be feeling like you can’t talk about what’s really going on for you with friends and family anymore, or you may even imagine that there’s something wrong with you for feeling this way.

What do you charge for your services?

Investment is $140 per session. Payment in full is required with each session. E-transfer and credit card are preferred payment method. Receipts are provided.

Yes, I use 'Doxy.me' which is health approved safe and secure tele-medicine portal. You receive a link from me prior to your appointment for simple and easy access to the session.

As a master degree (MSW) registered social worker (RSW) my services are covered by most insurance plans. I do not direct bill, please check with your benefit plan. What if I have to cancel a session?

I can be reached by email, phone or text. I understand that life can be busy however cancellations with less than 24 hours notice, except for emergencies, will be required to pay in full for the missed appointment.

What can I expect from therapy?

You can imagine that some of the benefits of entering a therapeutic relationship with me could include:

  • Relief from anxiety, depression, and ongoing worry;

  • More connection and greater ease in your relationships, especially when it comes to effectively communicating and navigating differences with loved ones;

  • Freedom and relief from self-sabotaging behaviors and addictions, and a genuine sense of feeling better in your own skin;

  • An increased capacity to resiliently handle the inevitable tough stuff of life;

  • An ability to finally move forward after big losses;

  • A sense of hope;

  • And an everyday that includes more ease, more joy, and an increased sense of aliveness. A life that looks good on the outside and actually feels good on the inside.
