(RE)CONNECT. HEAL. GROW.
"We don't have to do all of it alone; we were never meant to"
Let's face it; life can be overwhelming and hard sometimes.
We all have times when we feel sad, depressed, worried, anxious or have difficulties with life events. When you’re feeling stuck, frustrated, and tired of how your life and relationships are going, change can often feel impossible. You may find yourself thinking, “This just isn’t how life was supposed to be for me”. You may be feeling like you can’t talk about what’s really going on for you with friends and family anymore, or you may even imagine that there’s something wrong with you for feeling this way.
I offer therapeutic counselling using a mind/body foundation for adult individuals struggling with issues such as:
Grief and loss
Life adjustments/transitions (pregnancy/postpartum/career change/retirement/divorce)
Self awareness and personal growth
My therapy style has grown from the last 19 years of experience working in various mental health roles ranging from community outpatient care to hospital and clinic settings in Ontario, Alberta and Manitoba, as well as private practice here in Winnipeg since 2015. I prioritize professional development and training in order to work with a variety of presenting concerns. Each session is individualized to each individual client. I may use a variety of modalities in session to best match client needs.
